Catit Smartsift

Same as described, but needs some precautions to work perfectly: 1- Don't exceed max level 2- slow rotation to remove lumps only. 3- must secure lower drawer nicely in place. With this few precautions it will work perfect. The cat is enjoing it and 60% to 70 % less effort is needed to clean

- This product has more ads on social media than it deserves and whenever I write comments on their Instagram, they delete them and the whole post to escape from facing the truth. -The design looks nice and helpful but when I tried it, the handle was broken from the first week due to a fault in the design as sand is heavy and most of it goes inside when trying to flip the tray. - At least the handle has to be made from better material (steel) - Smell still comes out - No plastic bags can be found in the market that can fit with the tray's shape at a reasonable price. - I am now cleaning it manually as same as before, like any cheap litter box (not automatic) - The price is very high compared with the quality and experience, regret to buy it.

Since I buy this, my cat litter box is never empty because it is so easy and hassle free to clean every single time. If you’re not going for the automatic this one I want to recommend for all cat people.

Three cats share this at night. Combined with flushable litter, it does a better, quicker, and cleaner job than me. I had to improvise on space since it is much wider and longer than normal litter boxes; it is worth the trouble.

تقيمي له انه مفيد لبعض الوقت

i was so happy about this purchase and I thought it has solved my problem when I started using it, but I found out after a week of having it that I'm still scooping and cleaning as regularly as I was doing with the regular litter. if you leave the garbage in the lower drawer it will smell, the drawer is not odor sealing, and the poop doesn't easily drop into the lower compartment, I would still need to clean it manually, also the sand would drop into the lower drawer everytime I revolve it, if you put less sand, it wont be enough so not to stick into the drawer, I use it now just as a regular litter box, the nice thing about it is that when my cat goes in and out of it it wont spill as much litter as before and it is quite spacious

After buying this product cleaning after my cat has become very enjoyable and satisfactional, it works like magic very smoothly. no more scooping while my cat stares at me and thinks that I'm a weirdo who has a poop fetish

No accommodation for cats having a wee, when they do it sticks to the base creating a stinking, foetid box that the cats dont wanna use. Resulted in cat pee on my bed... The rolling mechanism is free so just rocks around and rhe system for collecting clean litter barely works, meaning you uave to basically assault it to get the litter back. Was easier just to use a scoop. (This isnt even mentioning the issue of new litter...).

I hesitated to buy this because of the poor reviews, but it sounded so good, I thought I would gamble and try it anyway. I have just started using this SmartSift littler box. By reading the good and bad reviews, I learned some things without having to learn the hard way. I am posting this because I think the litter box is getting a bad rap from some users.. THE BOX IS MADE UP OF AS DECENT MATERIAL AS ANY LITTER BOX. UPDATE: This morning I took out the litter pan and "top" sifting clean litter box to wash it out with a hose. This could be done in a bathtub. When I reinserted it, the litter pan did not lock in place properly and would swing although I had locked the handle. A mystery to me. I fiddled with how I had inserted it in the grooves made for the pan to be inserted in, made sure the handle was firmly in place, and then the litter pan locked in place. DON'T GIVE UP SO EASILY WITH MINOR PROBLEMS. FINE OUT WHY SOMETHING DOESN'T WORK AND TRY TO FIX IT. THE BOX IS WORTH IT AND MY CATS LOVE IT! 1. Ignore the pictures that come with the box to help you assemble it. They are useless and it is simple to put together because there are only 5 parts: top, bottom, inside litter pan, top container box (attached to litter pan but removable), a handle for dumping the pan, and the bottom collection pan. 2. It is large but only huge in a small place. It works well in our roomy laundry/pantry/storage room. 3. After assembly, at first, leave the swinging door off until your cat(s) get used to the box. 4. It has been made clear that you should rotate the handle very slowly. In the beginning, you should look inside the box as you rotate the litter pan (may need a flashlight) to see what is going on when you pull the lever forward. You will find that the clean littler sifts into the top container (not allowing clumps to enter). While it is being sifted, wait until all the "clean" liter is in the box. However, if the litter stops flowing into the top container, YOU HAVE PUT TOO MUCH LITER PAN FOR THE COLLECTING CONTAINER TO HOLD, so you have no choice but to waste some in the bottom box with the clumps. Of course, use less. 5. After you have collected the clean litter in the top container, pull the lever all the way to the FRONT to dump any remaining clumps (some will have already tumbled down as you sift but they land in the bottom box). Then push the lever all the way to the BACK and the litter being held in the top container will now flow freely back into the litter pan. BE SURE TO "LOCK" THE HANDLE or a large cat can hit the top container when exiting and it will cause the litter pan to dislodge. 6. The box will take almost any size cat, but a very large cat (maybe 18 lbs or so) takes up so much room that it cannot help but do its poop business on the side of the pan, sometimes creating a mess. The box is not suitable for truly large cats unless you are willing to put up with some messy problems at times. My cat is 14 lbs and I have no trouble. 7. In the reviews, I have picked up that Arm & Hammer's SLIDE cat litter will eliminate "stuff" sticking to the side or bottom of the liter pan. I have just purchased some and cannot vouch for this statement, although the box swears stuff will slide off and not stick.. 8. Some people, including Hagen, suggests several methods to get the cats to use it. You know your cats, so use your own judgement. As for my two cats, which I know sounds super silly, but I talk to my cats, and I bragged on their new litter box. I went on an on and was glad nobody could hear me. However, I didn't push them to use it, just removed the two boxes they were using, and they immediately started to use the new one. I HOPE THIS HELPS THE UNDECIDED ONES DUE TO BAD REVIEWS. THIS BOX IS NOT 100% MAINTAINENCE FREE BUT REQUIRES VERY LITTLE EFFORT IF USED PROPERTY. 5

This litter box was quite easy to put together and seems to be a simple but effective design. The entrance is quite high, so we have built a step for our younger cats, and have taken the door off. I love the window on top to view how it is working so we are not sifting blindly. It works a lot better if you go slow and shake the handle a bit as you go. Doing this highly decreases how much clean litter gets dropped into the bag. While it is not a completely automatic litter box, it is a great choice, and it is so easy that the children in my house can do it as well and don't complain! For information sake 3 cats: 2 yrs, 10 weeks, 10 weeks. 5 people cleaning: 3 adults, 6 year old, 9 year old.

I have 4 small cats that are growing very quickly. Cleaning the litterbox was a pain as I had to clean it about 2 to 3 times a day. I've bought two of these litterboxes and I'll tell you right now... I AM NEVER GOING BACK!! It's so easy in usage, cleaning is a breeze. Even if you only have 1 cat I still highly recommend the investment. Pro's No scoops or digging into the litterbox One move of the handle and your done Instead of cleaning the entire box you can just add some litter The entire process of cleaning takes me 10 minutes tops for both litter boxes Con's The handle can be a bit rigid given the weight (Droppings and litter) Their pee will clump onto the bottom (If you don't use a bag in the top tray) The box is rather large and has a high step (Can be an issue with smaller cats and kittens)

I absolutely hated every second of this product. I am very upset that I am not able to return it. It doesn't work advertised at all, it is extremely bulky and poorly designed with terrible quality plastic. It requires you to manually go and clean every single time.
