Are the dates the same on both sides

Thanks for the question, and yes, the dates are the same on both sides.

Is there a return polocy for these coins?

Amazon has a return policy for most all products sold on their website. Of course, there are stipulations to those returns. Their Customer Service department is a great tool to utilize. They should be able to answer all your questions.

Is there instuctions?

It does not come with instructions. There are two individual coins. One is a double head coin, one is a double tail coin. Just like a regular quarter but with the same image on each side.
