Very Useful Tool
I used this spring compressor to replace the dust boot on my strut, and it worked very well. It compressed the spring easily and made the job much easier. The tool was very useful and definitely helped me complete the repair safely and efficiently. Very happy with this purchase.

Don't buy for motorcycle apps
I'm giving this 5 stars because it's a very good product. Easy to adjust and solidly built. Unfortunately, it doesn't work on motorcycle shock springs. I'm sure it works great for automotive applications. Ended up returning.

Worked great for OME coil spring
Worked to compress an Old Man Emu coil spring on a Nissan Frontier. Grease the threads on the rod to reduce friction. Good value. I have been happy with other OMT tools and the spring compressor seems to be good enough quality to last a while.
