OEM parts. Great for observing your process of making a shot of espresso. Will not fit Breville. Review: Works very well - I bought this for my husband’s Rancillio Sylvia espresso machine and he just loves it. He now makes perfect latte macchiatos and it works very well. Fits perfectly of course since it was made especially for this machine. It’s heavy and sturdy. Very well made. Review: Triple shot from the coffee Gods - I purchased this from wholelattelove through desertcart a whopping $10 more than other websites 1. For "Prime" convenience, and 2. Most importantly because wholelattelove gives a lot of free information on their website and YouTube. Shipping and delivery was prompt and packaging was excellent. This triple shot basket and bottomless portafilter works excellent and has that wow factor as you watch your liquid black honey pump into your cup. A majority of the time I drink my espresso straight up black, so having a bit more to sip on is a welcome addition compared to my smaller filter. Also making one extra macchiato at a sitting helps saves time and increases work by 50 percent compared to the double shot. BONUS! It does feel a bit lighter than the original filter due to the missing spout, but none the less, it feels very durable. The basket itself lodges inside the filter very snug and can be a bit difficult to remove by hand if you try to grab the lip. The engineer in me took a few minutes and realized, just flip it over upside down, and push the filter out through. Way easier! The only slight downside is since it doesn't have the spout, so it can't sit on my rocky grinder hands free. Typically I allow my spouted one to sit there while operating/cleaning/drying my espresso machine. No bid deal I suppose; just leave it on the counter. I am glad I made the extra purchase for this portafilter and believe that if you have a rancilio espresso machine, you won't regret it. ## Features - Naked Portafilter for Rancilio Silvia machines - Size 3 Cups - 21 grams - It will provide you with immediate feedback and can see if channeling occurs right away - Bottomless portafilters are used as a training tool - Group Head Size 58 millimeters - Ergonomic Handle ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B00TECLIQA | | Best Sellers Rank | #104,966 in Kitchen ( See Top 100 in Kitchen ) #46 in Permanent Coffee Filters | | Brand | Rancilio | | Brand Name | Rancilio | | Compatible Devices | Rancilio | | Compatible devices | Rancilio | | Customer Reviews | 4.6 out of 5 stars 477 Reviews | | Item Weight | 1.2 Pounds | | Manufacturer | Rancilio | | Manufacturer Part Number | RRBPFA | | Material | copper | | Material Type | copper | | Model Number | RRBPFA | | Number of Packs | 1 | | Number of Pieces | 1 | | Number of pieces | 1 | | Package Size Name | Single | | Shape | Basket | | UPC | 735343242120 781147198880 753807195287 798527559247 793842127836 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | | Unit count | 1 Count | ## Product Details - **Material:** copper - **Brand:** Rancilio - **Shape:** Basket - **Number of pieces:** 1 - **Unit count:** 1 count ## Images ![Rancilio Silvia Bottomless Portafilter - Version 3 - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71wLAzFIZ5L.jpg) ## Questions & Answers **Q: Can it fit on my 1989 mr. coffee? i like folgers but the wife likes her starbocks.** A: Unfortunately, this will not fit your Mr Coffee. **Q: will fit gaggia clasic?** A: really doesnt fit, the side pieces that lock in and keep in are too wide **Q: Will it fit a Starbucks Barista Saeco espresso machine?** A: If you are looking for one that fits a 53 mm group head, the one I have for my Saeco Via Venezia is this one: https://www.seattlecoffeegear.com/bottomless-portafilter-53mm-for-saeco-and-starbucks-espresso-machines?gdftrk=gdfV25576_a_7c1994_a_7c7624_a_7cAPF143A0040 **Q: Where is this made and by whom?** A: These are OEM parts, direct from Rancilio. Can anyone advise if the engraving for bottomless portafilter v3 looks like in the pictures? The 2 pieces of smaller baskets on the right is laser etched with the brand and product lot/item code number but the one that came with the portafilter v3 looks punched on it which is barely visible. The pull from the 21g basket is not uniform too. The portafilter on the right and laser etched baskets comes with the silvia i‘d gotten last month. Just need some heads up from coffee lovers here if I’d gotten a knockoff. Would gladly remove this comment if I’m mistaken. Appreciated! ## Frequently Bought Together - Rancilio Silvia Bottomless Portafilter - Version 3 - Rancilio 58mm Backflush Disk; Blind Portafilter Basket - Custom Tune Up Kit 3in1 for Rancilio Silvia.
