Our products are designed to invite curiosity, not demand expertise, giving every listener room to grow. Yes. Certain Kanto speakers, like Yu4 and Yu6, feature a built-in switchable phono preamp and ground terminal. You can plug your turntable straight into the RCA inputs using the "Phono" switch. No bulky receiver or external preamp required. Yes. Ora, Ora4, and Uki feature direct USB-C digital audio inputs with built-in digital-to-analog converters (DACs). This bypasses your computer's noisy onboard sound card for uncompressed, bit-perfect desktop audio. Absolutely. Bookshelf speakers provide wider stereo imaging and richer clarity than standard soundbars. Connect via HDMI ARC (on Ren) to control speaker volume and power directly with your TV remote, or use the optical (TOSLink) input available across the lineup. Yes. Every Kanto powered speaker includes a dedicated Sub Out port. Models, such as Ora, Tuk, and Ren, feature a high/low pass filter, sending deep bass to the subwoofer while freeing the speakers to focus on mids and highs. A design element in its own right, YU2 brings character and substance to your desktop. Its built-in soundcard lets you stream high-quality audio directly from your computer’s USB port, delivering sound that challenges the notion that bigger is better. Built-in soundcard, it can stream high-quality audio directly from your computer’s USB port, or connect directly to any 3.5mm AUX for input flexibility. 3” composite drivers ensure a distortion-free bass and midrange. A specially tuned bass port on the rear extends the low end while keeping airflow away from your workspace. Connect a subwoofer to the SUB OUT port and revel in pure low-end bliss. Enclosed in a 5.9" tall MDF cabinet, 3" composite drivers, and 3/4” silk dome tweeters. Along with a 3.5mm AUX input, YU2’s integrated soundcard allows you to stream high-quality audio directly from your computer’s USB port. Choose between a variety of matte and gloss finishes to personalize your space. If you're looking for a little more kick, hook up a subwoofer via the SUB OUT port. Built-in DAC, connects directly to your computer via USB. Eliminate interference on your soundcard. Offering 16 degrees of tilt and improved sound isolation, the speaker stands ensure you experience the full range of frequencies. *Speaker stands are sold separately Kanto YU2 Speakers Kanto YU4MW Speakers Kanto YU6GB Speakers Kanto TUK Speaker ## Features - KANTO YU2 POWERED 2 CHANNEL STEREO COMPUTER SPEAKERS W/ BUILT-IN USB DAC - WALNUT ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | Additional Features | 100W Peak Power (50 Watts Total RMS), 2.5 kHz Crossover Frequency, 3 inch composite drivers, 3/4 inch Silk Dome tweeters, 80 Hz - 20 kHz Frequency Response | | Age Range Description | Adult | | Antenna Location | For Computers | | Asin | B08KWQ7SM1 | | Audio Driver Size | 7.6 centimeters | | Audio Driver Type | Dynamic Driver | | Audio Output Mode | Stereo | | Best Sellers Rank | #167 in Computer Speakers | | Brand | Kanto | | Built In Media | Power Cord, Speaker Wire, USB DAC Cable, 3.5mm Auxiliary Cable, Rubber Feet, Manual | | Color | Walnut | | Compatible Devices | Desktop, Laptop | | Connectivity Protocol | USB | | Connectivity Technology | Auxiliary, USB | | Control Method | Remote | | Controller Type | Corded Electric | | Customer Reviews | 4.6 4.6 out of 5 stars (1,021) 4.6 out of 5 stars | | Enclosure Material | Acoustic grade MDF cabinets | | Frequency Response | 20 KHz | | Impedance | 4 ohm | | Is Waterproof | FALSE | | Item Dimensions D X W X H | 5.3"D x 3.9"W x 5.9"H | | Item Type Name | Desktop Speakers | | Item Weight | 2.7 kg | | Manufacturer | Kanto | | Model Name | YU2WALNUT | | Model Number | CA-YU2WALNUT | | Mounting Type | Speaker | | Number Of Audio Channels | 2 | | Number Of Items | 1 | | Power Source | AC | | Speaker Maximum Output Power | 50 watts | | Speaker Size | 34.29 centimeters | | Speaker Type | Multimedia | | Specific Uses For Product | For Computers | | Subwoofer Diameter | 3 inches | | Total Usb 2 0 Ports | 1 | | Tweeter Diameter | 0.75 inches | | Unit Count | 1 Count | | Upc | 800152720203 742839975585 | | Warranty Description | Two Year Manufacturer's Warranty | | Warranty Type | Limited | | Woofer Diameter | 3 inches | ## Product Details - **Audio Output Mode:** Stereo - **Brand:** Kanto - **Connectivity Technology:** Auxiliary, USB - **Frequency Response:** 20 KHz - **Speaker Maximum Output Power:** 50 watts ## Images ![Kanto YU2 Powered 2 Channel Stereo Computer Speakers W/Built-in USB DAC - Walnut - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71jVb3GIu2L.jpg) ![Kanto YU2 Powered 2 Channel Stereo Computer Speakers W/Built-in USB DAC - Walnut - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71j3rH9+P6L.jpg) ![Kanto YU2 Powered 2 Channel Stereo Computer Speakers W/Built-in USB DAC - Walnut - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/712yRvdmTVL.jpg) ![Kanto YU2 Powered 2 Channel Stereo Computer Speakers W/Built-in USB DAC - Walnut - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71Y9A2eDvnL.jpg) ![Kanto YU2 Powered 2 Channel Stereo Computer Speakers W/Built-in USB DAC - Walnut - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81nItjoRKDL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Color** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: Do you have to shut these down when your not using the computer? ie Do they go into a low power mode with no input?** A: Kevin,It's best to turn these off as they do not have a standby mode like our YU3, YU5, or YUMI speakers. You can turn them on or off by using the volume control on the rear of the speakers. If you have any other questions feel free to contact us directly at support@kantoliving.com **Q: Can I use the 3.5mm input & USB DAC simultaneously? I'd like to play music from my iPod (via 3.5mm) while also hearing sounds from my PC via USB.** A: Chase,You can have two devices connected to the YU2's at the same time using USB and AUX. Since you don't have to choose which input is playing both sources can actually play at the same time. Our speakers should work well for the situation you've described. Contact us directly using the support button on our site if you have any other questions, thanks. **Q: Can I just plug these into my computer or do I need extra equipment like an amp? I can't find a thorough review or unboxing anywhere. Thanks** A: No amp required: the amp built into the left speaker. It comes with everything needed to connect to almost any computer. They sound very nice. Better than 99% of computer speakers. For music, you probably want to add a powered subwoofer. **Q: What subwoofer can I use for these speakers?** A: Richie,Any powered subwoofer that can accept an RCA input will work. Contact us directly using the support button on our site if you have any other questions, thanks. ## Frequently Bought Together - Kanto YU2 Powered Desktop Computer Speakers | 3" Drivers 3/4" Silk Dome Tweeter | 50 W RMS | Built-in USB DAC & AUX Input | Sub Out | Pair | Walnut - Kanto S2 Tilted Desktop Speaker Stands for Small Speakers & Compact 2”-3” Studio Monitors | Supports 6 lbs | Damping Foam Padding | Pair | Black --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.no/products/253076511-kanto-yu2-powered-2-channel-stereo-computer-speakers-w-built](https://www.desertcart.no/products/253076511-kanto-yu2-powered-2-channel-stereo-computer-speakers-w-built) --- *Product available on Desertcart Norway* *Store origin: NO* *Last updated: 2026-10-30*
