But only really useable at about 2 1/4" unless you have large hands. Pricey ? Yes. But worth it. **Q: Do these have the smooth or textured grips?** A: There is a slight texture on the grips. (not smooth). The grips have a nice non-slip texture. Knipex is known for its quality tools, but the finish could be a little bit better (the forging is excellent, but the grinding is a bit uneven).
