I don't want to loose my data if I am caught in rain, considering that now I am living in Europe region where it can rain a lot. For people in middle east this may not be a consideration. Also the SAN disk one seems to be a bit more resistant to falls/drops. The cable that comes with it is USB C to USB C male to male. Also included is a USB C to normal USB adaptor.
