However I only get 2 shaves out of each blade vs. the 3 shaves I get from Astra. The Astra brand is about the same in price so if you're looking for a deal you'll be happy with Astra. Old blades go in slot on underside of pack. **Q: how agressive are they??** A: If you are asking if they are more likely than most blades to cause cuts or nicks I would say no. But the "aggressiveness" is dependent upon more than the blade. My beard is not particularly tough or thick. I also use a Merkur razor model which is not noted for being too aggressive with blades. The angle of the blade in the razor and the amount of blade accessible to the face makes for a less "aggressive" shave. When I compared this blade with about a dozen others in choosing a blade it was in the middle of the pack in sharpness with feather being the sharpest.
