Not instantly, but I saw improvements after a week and over the next few weeks it became obvious it was working, and now I have very little acne on my back. I like that I'm just using one product, no extra steps, just have a shower like normal and it resolves the acne. My skin likes it, no irritation. I find it last pretty well. At home with my water softener just one pump of liquid is enough to wash my whole body. Elsewhere with hard water I use three. So it's more concentrated than most shower gels and that makes it a bit better value for money.
