The pictures are clear, the information concise, and they get the job done like no one else. Their travel guides are exquisite, and language books like this one are pictorial, easy to slip into a purse or pocket, and they answer a need like no one else does. I highly recommend this book (and similar ones for other languages) to anyone traveling. Review: Great book, some caveats, but still five stars. - This book is great, I gave it five stares because it is such a good book for its essential purpose and I hate ripping a product based on my bias. But there are some caveats. 1. The print is very small and hard for me to read in low light. I can read it fine in good lighting, and text that size is not a problem for me on a computer screen. It is clear that this was a decision to make the book portable for travel or living in Russia. I did not take away stars because learning new languages is mostly done by young people with good eyes. I don't like that the phonetic pronunciation is right below the Cyrillic because it makes it hard not cheat and read the phonetic rather than generate the proper sounds from the Cyrillic.
