The tail is bundled in the ribbon. Are we suppose to open the ribbon and free the tail hair?

No. Most of the drafts have their tales docked as infants. Look at any professional team (Budweiser) and you'll notice the tails are docked and tied with a ribbon. It keeps them from pooping on their tails and having them swat their poopy tails on the carriage riders.

How tall is this Clydesdale plush horse?

Hi. My Clydesdale is approximately 11" tall from foot to top of head and 12" long from nose to bump.
