Love it!😍
Very easy installation with connection to wireless gateway using the Xfinity app. Significantly improved wireless signal strength in area of need, improving connection strength/stability to devices as intended. So far so good!!👍👌👏Just to note, when you install one of these you will probably have to reconnect the wireless devices in that area so they will then connect to the new extender. Xfinity app will show you where all wireless devices are connected, gateway, extender #1, #2, etc.. shows signal strength too using “troubleshoot device” on each device detail page..Very happy camper!!😀🏕️

Plug and play
Works well when used with an either net cord, and pairs right to the Xfinity home router with easy.

Very BAD design. Don’t waste your money with this crap. Customer service sucks
The XPod turned out to be a complete disaster. After only a few days over a month, it short-circuited the outlet and triggered the circuit breaker. Out of return day warranty window. I couldn’t get a replacement. It failed to work again after flashing its indicator LED and attempting to connect to the router. When I reached out to the seller for a replacement, I got ghosted, adding insult to injury.Despite the attempt to design it with a fan and heat sink, the small form factor caused severe overheating issues. The WiFi booster was as good as useless, with its RF antenna design being a joke and inefficient due to its small size.In the end, I had to purchase a Google mesh WiFi extender, which has been working great so far. I am thoroughly disappointed with the XPod and wouldn't recommend it to anyone."

An improvement over an older one
Works great

Good extension to xfinity network
It works seamlessly with my xfinity router and adds a couple of network ports, as well as expanding the network coverage, I used it to replaced a failed Orbi satellite and it seems slower than that device.. but it was half the price of a replacement…

Impressive ability to send a better signal across my driveway
I have spent the past few years trying different WiFi extenders or other products to have reliable WiFi across my driveway in a workshop. Things went ok with others but when I needed reliable video speed for my meetings, this xfi pod has been a game changer. My extender picks it up. The pod is plugged in right near the external door so it brought the signal about 20 feet closer. It still has to go through some walls and hit my extender but I’ve got over 70-100mbps download and 40+mbps for upload now, where I had been functioning on 30% of that before. Without my extender it’s very hit or miss, so I still need that in the workshop. Recommend.

xPod to the rescue
Generation 2 has much better coverage. Installation was easy, just use the Xfinity app and wait about two minutes. Works perfectly. We had two major dead spots for the Wi-Fi and both of these spots are now full signal.

Not worth the money
Challenging to configure, spent hours on phone with Apple. After finally getting configured, doesn’t really help range
