I've always worried about velcro wearing out and letting my dog pop free at the worst moment. I may never need the extra security, but it's a nice touch just in case. 4. Good, strong seams. My little guy is seven months old and completely hyperactive right now. Over the past month he's tugged on this harness harder than I'd expect a dog twice is size to manage, probably hundreds of times. He runs in circles leaping through the air, dives and rolls on the sidewalk, gets tangled in bushes, and basically is a menace just due to excess energy. And this harness still looks almost new. It's a bit scuffed in spots, but no threads are popping loose and the straps and clips are still in great shape. We take him out so often that we just leave this on him from breakfast til bed time and I think it's in remarkably good condition considering that fact. Cons: none Wish List: 1. I wish there was a model of this with the neck a bit lower in the front, maybe in more of a V shape. My pup is absolutely squirrel crazy. It's like a short circuit in his brain that I haven't managed to train out of him. And that means he'll sometimes hit the end of the lead at a full run and still end up coughing a bit due to the top hem smacking the front of his throat. It's nowhere near as bad as it would be with a standard collar or the last two harnesses I tried on him though. Overall I rate this a must have for pretty much any dog. It's better made and a better design than other harnesses that I've paid almost twice as much for. Review: The best harness ever. I've used this harness to walk my dog frequently and take him one long trips or car rides. I think this harness is also super comfortable. My dog has never chewed or had issues wearing the harness. This is probably the only harness you'll ever need because it's such good quality. I think having the velcro / clips around the neck and the side just make it a little bit more convenient to take on and off. I really like this one because it spreads the like pull more evenly when wearing a leash. Additionally jackets still fit even with the harness on. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Approaching perfect *by M***E on November 26, 2019* The Pupia harness has a some great features. The main ones involve its adjustability. The Pupia can be adjusted more to fit like a horse collar, down on the base of the neck, which spreads out the load into the wide straps. The adjustment involves sizable velcro patches, with sturdy backup straps that are adjustable with mini side release buckles. The harness is pretty well made and survives washing easily. My Jack Russell is an accomplished Houdini and he hasn't gotten out of it yet, when properly adjusted. The only way out would be by backing out of it if the chest strap was too loose. Most dogs are charging full speed ahead in problem situations, and this harness gets high marks for security and backup security. The faults of this harness are not deal killers, but inconveniences. There is no place to attach dog tags except on the leash rings on the dogs back. This leave the tags flopping around on the dog's back, when it would be better to provide a ring at the traditional location at the lower front. The second fault is the location of the chest strap side-release buckle, smack dab in the armpit. This seems like it probably chafes, and after a year and a half of constant use it bugged my dog enough for him to suddenly eat the buckle when I wasn't looking.
