The America We Deserve is the essential book for anyone who wants to understand the core of Donald Trump's political thinking. In this book, written as he first considered running for president in 2000, Trump offers no-nonsense, populist, provocative, and dramatic solutions to issues that continue to resonate with voters today. In this book, Trump lays out a vision for America that is strong, optimistic, and founded on core Republican principles of self-reliance, limited governance, economic growth, and equitable taxation. Striking for its similarities to President Trump's current initiatives--but also fascinating in its differences-- The America We Deserve reveals a man who is fully engaged with the nation and cares deeply about its future. Readers and voters will discover Trump's ideas on: *Foreign policy and relations with China, Russia, North Korea, and Israel *How to fix our broken and underperfoming education system *Reducing regulations on business to help create jobs and economic growth *A dramatic one-time tax on the super-wealthy to close the national debt and fuel tax cuts for the middle class *Immigration, crime, terrorism, and more The America We Deserve is essential reading for Trump-watchers, voters, Republicans, Democrats, and anyone interested in how Trump the businessman became Trump the president. May be a little biased! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An essential early understanding of an original mind *by C***D on September 5, 2026* Love the guy or hate him, I think it's critically worthwhile to look at the way Donald Trump conceptualized values and goals at an earlier time as it impacts the public weal. His "Art of the Deal" is a good general start on Personality 101, but this one -- a kinda of "I may run for president" type of book issued around the year 2000, when he was flirting with an independent run, delineates much of his seminal thinking on what he values, and what he feels is good for the country. Well, he didn't run for president when this campaign book was written, but nevertheless, it offers a sort of template fo the values that matured into the force of nature he is today, and the bedrock issues that he never really abandoned. Again, as I say, love him or leave him. But this is a good early view of the thinking of what any neutral observer would agree is today the most impactful politcal leader we've seen on the political stage, as he began early on to contemplate a career in public service.. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.no/products/24100484-the-america-we-deserve](https://www.desertcart.no/products/24100484-the-america-we-deserve) --- *Product available on Desertcart Norway* *Store origin: NO* *Last updated: 2026-10-12*
