Removes Cam Shaft and Crank Shaft Seals Without Damage to the Shaft. Engage the adjustable hook behind the seal. Brace the push rod against the engine head and push the handle to remove the seal. Removes the seal without damage to the shaft.

Review: Had to modify the hook, but it worked well. - I recently used this seal puller to remove the CrankShaft seal from my chainsaw. I learned about it from a YouTube video, & that guy clearly stated that he had to File Down the size of the hook, to make it work. I had to do the same thing, but it worked very well. Fortunately, Lisle did provide a 2nd Hook in the package, so the puller can be used for another size seal in the future. I am reasonably happy with this puller.
Review: Easy seal removal - I bought this tool after many years of using the old traditional hook style tool and also drilling holes and using wood screws to remove seals, I had to be very careful since both my old methods can scratch and damage the sealing surface, but now I got a very picky customer and wated all the seals replaced, this time I decided to do some research and find something less risky and better. For my surprise, this tool works great. I can't explain how happy I feel of finding this tool after many years, these seals were very tight in the holes, I was scared of breaking the tool but I was able to remove all 3 front seals with no issues at all. Really recommend this to anyone with patience to understand and use it.

**Q: Anyone know where I can get just new tips I have broken the 2 it comes with and need to buy replacment tips?**
A: Yes, replacement hook part# is lisle 58500.

**Q: Anyone know if this works on the camshaft seal for a Toyota Camry ('92 - '01)? This particular car gives very little room for that.**
A: I used it on a recessed main transmission shaft seal. Good Design. Should work on all seals that require a puller.  Takes a little effort but the seal will go.

**Q: can this be use on honda motorcycle 155cc tmx**
A: Yes. Slide the steel finger between the shaft and seal . It may take a little force with a dry seal. Then adjust the positioning bar so you can get the leverage needed to pop it out.be careful not to scar the seal wall. Oil the inside of the new seal before placement so it doesn't run dry.

**Q: Has anyone ever used this for replacing grease seals on an RV while packing bearings and putting in new seals? Will it work OK for that?**
A: hi,you didnt say what kind of RV, but when you knock out inner bearing the grease seal pops out also.so you just use a wood dowel to not harm the bearing.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Worked well on cam and crank seals

Worked very well removing the cam and crank seals on a Lexus RX300; 17 year old seals came out fairly easily with no damage to the shafts so I am happy with the tool and would recommend it. The only odd thing was that the swiveling post gets hung up on the curve in the handle and you have to wrestle it off that' I'm not sure why it's made that way. Regardless though I'm still glad I bought it.
