Full nesting kit with trays. No plastic pots needed. Great gift. : Patio, Lawn & Garden ## Features - The Ladbrooke 5-Pc Essentials Set includes the Mini 4, Micro 20, Cubic Inserts, 3/8" Seed Pins, and 7/8" Dowel Pins — everything needed to start soil blocking the day it arrives. Mini 4 makes four 2" blocks per press. Micro 20 makes twenty 3/4" starter blocks. Cubic inserts snap into the Mini 4 so Micro 20 starter blocks nest directly inside — no repotting, no root disturbance. Soil blocks eliminate plastic pots entirely. - Manufactured in England since the 1960s. Premium EP-coated steel resists corrosion, moisture, and soil chemicals. Built to last a lifetime of seed starting seasons. - Two block sizes work together in sequence — Micro 20 makes 3/4" starter blocks that nest directly into Mini 4's 2" blocks. One continuous system from germination to transplant. No repotting, no root disturbance. The Maxi blocker adds a third block size when you're ready to grow the system further. - Press moistened soil blocking mix into the mold and eject directly into your tray. Each block has a built-in seed dimple. Roots air-prune naturally at the block edges — no circling, no crowding, virtually no transplant shock. - Eco-friendly seed starting from day one. No plastic trays, no plastic pots. Just soil, seeds, and tools built to grow with you. - Dowel pins create deeper holes in each block — perfect for larger seeds and seeds that need to be planted deeper. Seed pins create the standard seed dimple. One set, every seed covered. - Authentic Ladbrooke — look for the Ladbrooke logo and MADE IN UK stamped on every tool. Not a copy, not a knockoff. The original since the 1960s. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B01BDZDCKA | | Best Sellers Rank | #343,620 in Patio, Lawn & Garden ( See Top 100 in Patio, Lawn & Garden ) #562 in Plant Germination Kits | | Brand | Ladbrooke | | Brand Name | Ladbrooke | | Customer Reviews | 4.5 out of 5 stars 480 Reviews | | Global Trade Identification Number | 05061058960260 | | Item Highlight | Mini 4, Micro 20, cubic inserts, dowel & seed pins. This tool comes with 5/8" white plastic seed pins that leave a dent in the soil block to place the seeds in. The Micro 20 in the upper right corner of image, makes 20 3/4" x 3/4" x 3/4" soil blocks; they are very small. These are often then transplanted or "nested" into the larger Mini 4 blocks before they are ready to be transplanted outdoors. In order to "nest" the Micro soil blocks into the Mini 4 soil blocks, you need to pop out the 5/8" seed pins and fit the Mini 4 with the black cube inserts so the resulting soil blocks can receive the Micro soil blocks. Otherwise, it would be like fitting a square peg in a round hole. We hope this helps. **Q: Does this set contain all 3/4”, 2”, & 4” soil block makers?** A: This set includes the Micro 20 soil blocker, which makes twenty 3/4" soil blocks and the Mini 4 soil blocker, which makes four 2" soil blocks. It does not include the Maxi soil blocker, which makes 4" soil blocks. The Maxi soil blocker can be bought separately or in another larger 6-piece set. **Q: I am looking for 1.5 x1.5 inch soil blocker ?** A: Hi, I believe your are looking for the Ladbrooke Mini 5 soil blocker. The cells are closer to 1-3/8" x 1-3/8". You can find it here. https://www.amazon.com/Ladbrooke-Genuine-Mini-Soil-Blocker/dp/B0793MDSKT **Q: Do the Mini's come with a set of pins installed in addition to the 1" add ons?** A: All Mini 4s have 5/8" seed pins installed in them. The 1" seed pins are in addition. ## Frequently Bought Together - Authentic Ladbrooke Soil Block Maker 5-Pc.
