Always write your combination somewhere safe that is no where near the lock....maybe with your car registration in your glove box...etc. These are nice. Haven't had one in over 20 years and it seems just as I remember them. I remembered these being easier than having to keep up with and use a key. *Also...a person could get your key ring while you're asleep and open your locks if the keys are on your key rings. The average person can't "break a combination" especially since the numbers are random. The quality seems to be very good. You can get just one...or even colorful ones....but the two pack makes life easier. There are cheaper locks out there. I wouldn't recommend anything but Master Locks if you value the item you're locking...spend a few bucks for quality.
