I filled it just short of the full 30" which was perfect for her. She can kneel down and her face is still above water. The product description and quality are in line with the reviews I read. So far (4weeks in) it has proven durable and low maintenance. There has been no leaks or filter issues either. It has been a great confidence booster for my daughter! She is fearless and has been able to learn how to right herself and not panic when underwater (where she prefers to be!).
