Avoid those nasty surprises when you look in the rear view mirror and secure your bike with the Accessory Strap Kit. This set of Twelve straps replaces any lost or broken rubber stretchable straps on Thule or other brand rack cradles (the kind with protruding attachment knobs on the sides). An accessory for Thule cradles, the 534 rubber straps work with many Thule bicycle rack cradles and anti-sway cradles. A variety of replacement cradles and straps that fit Thule hitch and strap racks. Functions as a replacement cradle on most current Thule hitch and trunk mount racks. Contains six replacement stay put cradle. Rubberized replaceable ladder-style straps for use with Thule and similar competitive bike rack

Review: Works on hypertough racks - Bought these to replace the loop style that came on our rack. they were a little hard to get on the hyper tough racks but after some lube, they slid right on. going on eight months now with no issue. will post updates.

I used soap and silicone spray with a hammer and a 12" piece of 1x2 lumber to install the cradles, after letting them sit in the sun for a while. They aren't falling off or moving on their own.

Fit great and far cheaper than replacing the Thule straps. I had two bikes fall off the rack with the old straps so needed to replace the tie downs. Had to use water with soap to get them on but most reviews had the same solution.
