With a thermal conductivity of over 1.07 W/m-K and an electrically non-conductive silicone formula, it safely fills surface imperfections to prevent overheating. Ideal for professionals and enthusiasts seeking reliable, long-lasting cooling performance backed by a 2-year warranty. ## Description The HEATGREASE20 CPU Thermal Paste Compound can be used to improve the effectiveness of a CPU cooler, by thermally bonding the surface of the CPU to the heatsink, which enables the heatsink and fan to work more efficiently to remove harmful heat from the CPU. This 20g tube of ceramic-based thermal grease is enough for a large number of CPU installations for most home or business computers or any other light application where good thermal bonding between two surfaces is required. Please see our support section for the Material Safety Data Sheet for HEATGREASE20. ## Features - Improves the heat transfer between a CPU and heatsink to keep the CPU running cooler - Effectively fills surface imperfections on CPU to prevent air pockets and help heat transfer - Ceramic-based compound that is electrically non-conductive, for safe use around electronics - Ceramic-based compound containing silicone - Thermal conductivity of more than 1.066 W/m-K - Item Package Dimension: 5.74L x 3.22W x 0.98H inches - Item Package Weight - 0.066 Pounds - Item Package Quantity - 1 - Product Type - ELECTRONIC COMPONENT FAN ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B005VULWLA | | Best Sellers Rank | #38 in Silicon Grease | | Brand | StarTech.com | | Brand Name | StarTech.com | | Compatible Devices | Desktop | | Cooling Method | Thermal | | Customer Reviews | 4.6 out of 5 stars 1,822 Reviews | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00065030844826 | | Included Components | 1 - Tube of Silicone Heat Grease Compound | | Item Dimensions L x W x H | 0.7"L x 2.8"W x 0.7"H | | Item Highlight | Heatsinks | | Item Type Name | HEATGREASE20 | | Item Weight | 0.02 kg | | Manufacturer | StarTech.com | | Material Type | Silicone | | Model | HEATGREASE20 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Packs | 1 | | Part Number | HEATGREASE20 | | Power Connector Type | 3-Pin | | Product Dimensions | 0.7"L x 2.8"W x 0.7"H | | UPC | 065030844826 | | Warranty Description | 2 year warranty | | Wattage | 1.07 watts | ## Product Details - **Brand:** StarTech.com - **Compatible Devices:** Desktop - **Cooling Method:** Water - **Global Trade Identification Number:** 00065030844826 - **Material:** Silicone - **Number of Packs:** 1 - **Power Connector Type:** 4-Pin - **Product Dimensions:** 0.7"L x 2.8"W x 0.7"H - **UPC:** 065030844826 - **Wattage:** 1.07 watts ## Images ![StarTech 20g Tube CPU Thermal Paste Grease Compound (HEATGREASE20) - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61Bq2RCwZNL.jpg) ## Questions & Answers **Q: Can it short a cpu?** A: As far as I know no because it's a heat sink pace but I didn't make it and I've never had it to short a computer it's worked fine for me but you could look on here where other people left any of you and ask them have a good day no guarantee's I didn't make it **Q: Is this a non-hardening paste that requires mechanical clamping or is it a hardening glue that requires no mechanical clamping?** A: Non hardening since it is for electronic components. The only clamp needed is the screws used to screw down the component. This is not glue so clamping is not needed. **Q: Is this alright to use on the memory/power modules of a laptop's gpu?** A: This is a thermally conductive paste used to help couple a heatsink to some piece of equipment. I am not familiar with the item you are referencing however if it needs to dissipate some heat into a heat sink this should work. I am sorry but that is the best I can do. If there is some potential on the device you made to include a Mica washer to prevent grounding. **Q: will this work on my 'ozone machine' ===ozone plate connection???** A: No, HEATGREASE20 is thermal paste for installing a processor and heatsink inside a standard computer.
