My kids charges it up and as soon as its ready plays until the batteries die again. We enjoying playing with the drone as well. Review: Did not receive extra blades, a one broke within a day, but they have d*** good customer service - Update: The company reached out to me and offered me not only replacement blades but another drone. On top of that, I received a hand written note emphasizing how they prioritize customer satisfaction. This company's customer service goes way above and beyond. It was fun for a few hours, but one of the blades broke when the kids were playing with it. The motion response time was kind of poor, and they were having a hard time keeping it from bouncing off the walls and ceiling. I guess it did it one time too many, and it bounced off the walls, shot to the ceiling, and then did a spinning dive onto the floor, hitting the coffee table in the process. One of the blades broke. We looked in the package hoping to find more, but there wasn't any. I've tried finding replacement blades and a tiny screwdriver too, but no one sells blades for this model. It was fun for a bit, but kind of disappointing it didn't last longer. ## Features - Ultra Bright LED Scoot Drone for Kids: This hand operated drone is the ultra-bright version of the original Scoot drone; enjoy multiple, super-bright green and blue LEDs light up this UFO flying toy with every flight - Scoot Drone that Flips: Place both hands on both sides of the drone, swipe a hand under when the lights start to blink rapidly, and see this LED drone perform a 360° flip; easy, fun, and great beginner drone for kids ages 8 and up - 360° Rotating Flight Design: Indoor hover drone for beginners is equipped with powerful motors to fly in all directions; flying with smart, obstacle avoidance motion sensors, simply use your hand to guide its flight and catch this hand drone “hamburger-style” once you’re done - Durable and Kid-Safe Webbed Shell Design: This flying toy drone is designed with nontoxic, high quality webbed shell that protects hands, walls, and furniture from the propellers; this webbed shell also keeps the drone safe from damages as it fly around any indoor space - US-Certified Quality Assured STEM Toy: The Scoot LED hand drone measures 4.3”D, includes a USB recharging cable, and flies for 8 minutes with every 50-minute charge; this hand-operated drone is designed to satisfy - Award Winning STEM Toy: 2020 Mom's Choice Award Gold Seal of Approval winner for excellence in the kids product category. It’s showing it’s fully charged too. Ideas?** A: I purchased two and had a similar issue with one. After one use it would not recharge, it did turn on but flashed red and died. I returned it and got another, hopefully this one lasts. **Q: The charger light doesn't turn on if scoot is powered off. Is the scoot supposed to be charged while turned on?** A: Hi everyone! Thanks for sharing your experience with our hand operated drones for kids. We've updated the Scoot manual with the correct charging sequence. Here's the sequence for your reference: 1. Plug the USB charger to a power source (the charger led will turn on) 2. Connect the drone to the charger (the charger led will go out) 3. The light comes back ON when charging is completed It only takes about 50 minutes to fully charge and the Scoot has to be OFF when charging. **Q: How much flight time does a full charge provide?** A: The charge lasts long enough that if you toss it up in the air you can watch it fly out of sight! **Q: We severed the charger cord by accident. Also lost the directions. Could you please let me know how to get a new charger?** A: Hey there! We have them sold on Amazon. But the company was tirelessly committed to making it right for me. They sent me a replacement and an extra set of props. Then, when USPS failed to deliver the package, they sent ANOTHER package! They included a hand written thank you note and followed through every step of the way. Bravo! You've proved that customer service is alive and well. I look forward to many fun flights! Thank you. ____________________________________________ The first one I bought stopped working within the first two weeks of using it. And then a blade snapped off the second one I got as a replacement, on the first flight! The battery life is weak and it's very noisy. On the plus side, the flip trick is fun when you can get it to work. Do not recommend. ## Frequently Bought Together - Force1 Scoot LED Hand Operated Drone for Kids or Adults - Hands Free Motion Sensor Mini Drones, Easy Indoor Flying Orb Ball Small UFO Toy for Boys and Girls (Green/Blue) - TOSY Flying Ring - 16 Million Color RGB LEDs or 12 LEDs, Super Bright, Lost Mode, Auto Light Up, Camping Essentials for Kids/Teens/Boy/Girl, Safe & Soft, Waterproof, Pool/Beach Games, Lightweight Toy --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.no/products/234139844-scoot-led-green-blue](https://www.desertcart.no/products/234139844-scoot-led-green-blue) --- *Product available on Desertcart Norway* *Store origin: NO* *Last updated: 2026-10-05*
