They are super heavy and hefty (so my cats dont knock them down) and the density of the steel does a great job isolating the speakers from the ground improving the sound quality. These towers are incredibly functional, especially when paired with the KEF speakers. The wires are tucked away inside of the tower for a clean look. While on the expensive side, there is no substitution for quality. The value is there. They are perfectly sized to the speakers, and proper height for intense listening sessions.
