The highly anticipated album features his recent hit singles "What Do You Mean," and "Where Are U Now," and draws influence from an array of genres and collaborations. The iconic album chronicles Justin's personal and artistic growth, as he solidifies his place among the biggest stars of our time. PURPOSE is one of those undeniable future classic albums that redefines an era and a sets the agenda for a new wave of pop. Hometown: Ontario, Canada / Los Angeles, CA Review: Amazing Collection for Fans - I purchased the Deluxe Edition of Purpose for my teenager, and it has been a huge hit. The CD includes all of Justin Bieber’s standout tracks from this album, plus the additional deluxe songs that make it feel like a complete experience. The music quality is excellent, with clear vocals and well-produced instrumentals that really highlight Justin’s growth as an artist. The deluxe edition packaging is sleek and durable, and the liner notes give extra insight into the album’s creation, which fans will appreciate. Songs like “Sorry,” “Love Yourself,” and “What Do You Mean?” are still as catchy and fun as ever. This album is perfect for both longtime fans and anyone just getting into Justin Bieber’s music. Overall, it’s a solid addition to any pop music collection, offering hours of entertainment and a deeper connection to the artist’s work. Highly recommend! Review: Great album - This has always been one of my favorite albums. I don’t know what happened to my old cd copy so I just got a new one. Absolutely love the pop style songs, just good vibes.

A step down...
After a series of outstanding albums, this one takes a much more simplified approach... to the point that much of my interest had been exhausted after a few months. This is mainly a problem with its first half, which is loaded with the excessively simple songs which have unfortunately become the key radio hits from this album. Ok, so I'm more demanding in my tastes, and would never have bought Bieber's albums if they'd been dominated by songs like "Love Yourself." Where is the wonderful overdubbing of great, carefully designed musical layers which made his first album (both parts of "My World") so outstanding?? Alas, but thanks to a strong second half of the album, including the "bonus" tracks on this deluxe edition, I do like this album. I don't know what most people are thinking when it comes to the excessive radio repetition of the already repetitive "hit" tracks, but I'm certainly glad that this album includes a variety of music. Unlike the top hits, in which it is barely detectable why Bieber became successful at all, the real talent is evident from delving deeper into the album. In particular, THE standout track here is "No Pressure" - which should have been THE #1 hit off this album, and which has a phenomenal vocal performance as well as a groovy, catchy design - *in spite of* yet another shared spotlight by a rap artist (Big Sean). I've nothing against Big Sean, but frankly I get *nothing* from rap patter and listen to rap only for its groovy rhythms and cool musical effects - not for the lyrics or even any of the vocals at all. They do nothing for me, and in my opinion have always been a pointless portion of Bieber's albums, having nothing at all to do with Bieber's own skills. I would recommend that Bieber and his producers take a serious look at the phenomenal early albums and reconsider what made them work. It wasn't the countless "guest artist" appearances by other stars. It wasn't that Bieber is considered a kind of heavy macho gangsta type of performer. (The episodes of his dealing with that temptation were truly embarrassing to all.) No, it was *new* music by a skilled and sometimes passionate vocal artist, awesomely packaged with great care taken in its production design, and that had delivered a lot of very enjoyable, upbeat music which wasn't that easy to find at the time. Shifting into the realm of Skrillex's minimalist tones wasn't necessarily a bad thing, because they certainly do work well in several tracks from this album. But the standards for musical complexity should be upheld. Half of this album seems to be designed to catch on quickly (to become hits) and to fade out just as quickly. As such, it doesn't bear up so well under many re-listenings, unless one starts skipping over the simple "hits" that weren't that interesting to begin with (which became hits merely because they were very "accessible" or easy to understand and had an effective "hook"). Frankly, I found the online album "Journals" to be a bit more interesting, even though it was also a step in the wrong direction, and I am waiting for it to become available on CD. It's weird that people pretend that wasn't an attempted album, which didn't succeed only because of all the negative reactions to Bieber's well-publicized missteps. Either music is about the music or it isn't. I'm one of the "fans" of the music, and prefer to ignore artists' irrational meddling with drugs and parties and arrests and whatever else. But unfortunately, that seemed to be precisely the thing to cancel a normal release for the "Journals" album. That might be a good thing for those who wanted to "teach Justin a lesson" - perhaps it worked. But for many persons who really aren't that involved in following Justin's personal life, and simply want to hear more of the singer's music, these things are unfortunate. Another thing I object to is the very notion that there is a "deluxe version" of the album. This means that a bunch of people who bought the normal version got ripped off by being prematurely sold an incomplete album, or not going through the correct purchase channels to buy the full set of tracks. It's all ridiculous, and surely only encourages people to just listen to the stuff on YouTube instead of actually making a purchase to support the artist. Everyone should reconsider gimmicks like this, and the music itself should *stay sophisticated*. And since Bieber wants to go in new directions, why doesn't he try an album for once that is devoid of *any* rap music whatsoever? I would be one of the first to buy such an album. Does anyone really expect an impressive rap presence when they buy an album from this young white singer from Stratford, Ontario, Canada? Maybe I'm missing something, but... I don't think so. What I think people want is more of the impressive melismatic melodies, awesome production design, and a range of upbeat, heartfelt, and "general audience" mainstream music! I do enjoy this album, but it's merely good, not great as his earlier releases were.

Nana loves Justin Beiber? Yes I do!
I'm not a " Belieber" per say, nor do I fit the " description" ( if you will) of a true Justin Beiber fan. My friends, family, and my granddaughters ( yeah, you read it right) are truly shocked that I love his music the way I do. I purchase all genres of music ( Prince, Billy Joel, Fleetwood Mac, Lil' Wayne, Elton John, Fetty Wap, Snoop...you name it... I have it). I was browsing through videos one day and happened upon "Beauty and a Beat" . I was impressed and wanted more so I decided to get this CD after hearing a couple of tracks on the radio. I fell in LOVE with Justin like I was a " Belieber" from way back when he was a kid! My favorites you ask? " I'll Show You", " Company"....every song on the CD is my favorite. I play it everyday in my car! Six in the a.m. Blasting JB on the highway! And guess what? I'm a young 55 telling everyone that this CD is the.....!!!! Get it...jam on it....and don't worry about what people say....you'll love it!

About the CD for one song purpose I seen Justin Bieber on the TV singing this I couldn’t help see how great and honest he was singing this I felt he had found himself, which is a great thing. I bought the CD so I could have the song and others to listen to myself when I need to be uplifted by God’s words thank you, Justin

Super Consigliato!
