Our son loved it, so I hope this helped answer your question. **Q: Will this hat provide warnings if any dark wizards are on the uprising?** A: one warning per hat. **Q: Can the mouth move at all?** A: Barley. You have to really get your fingers in the pockets on the inside that make the mouth move and they are pretty small. **Q: When the hat is on someones head-can you work it like a puppet so that it "Talks"?** A: The puppet feature works best when someone is not already wearing the hat. Hope this helps! The elope Team ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The original as in the movie!! *by A***R on May 9, 2026* This is a great deal, is the original hat from the movie, I am very satisfied. Quality is top notch. Fits better in small heads. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Nice *by S***E on August 27, 2026* Nice but had to return it ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ decent prop for the price *by S***R on August 20, 2026* I had the talking sorting hat, but wanted a lighter one to suspend from the ceiling. This one was one of the most affordable options and it actually looks pretty good. Its been shoved into storage boxes several times, but has held up well. ## Frequently Bought Together - elope Harry Potter Sorting Hat Costume Accessory - Faux Suede, Adjustable, Wired Rim, Officially Licensed, Patches & Straps - Conquest Journals Harry Potter Wizarding House Banner Flag Set, 12'' x 20'' Polyester Flags, Set of 5 Includes Hogwarts Crest, Gryffindor, Slytherin, Ravenclaw & Hufflepuff Banners, Birthday Party - SANNIX Set of 40 Flying Keys Charms, 40PCS Dragonfly Wings 40 DIY Vintage Skeleton Key and Elastic Crystal String for Wedding Party Decorations --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.no/products/2295963-harry-potter-sorting-hat-costume-accessory-faux-suede-adjustable-wired](https://www.desertcart.no/products/2295963-harry-potter-sorting-hat-costume-accessory-faux-suede-adjustable-wired) --- *Product available on Desertcart Norway* *Store origin: NO* *Last updated: 2026-10-13*
