The reason for this is because the light sensor is activated my the aux light on the bottom of your drone. I personally go into my settings and set the function key as the Aux light manual operation button. Hope this helps. **Q: Will it work with the Phantom pro4plus?** A: Nope **Q: Will this work with DJI Air 3?** A: I don’t know if it will work with the DJI Air 3, I have the Air 2s and it works perfectly with it. **Q: I have the Mavic air 2 it fits fine but i can't get it to control the servo. I see all these videos about a light sencor mine did not come with one?** A: On the AirDrop Unit, there is a charging port that you use to charge the unit. Next to the charging port, there is an on/off switch you need to set to on and a led light next to the switch will light up. Open the top swing arm and at the inside bottom of the unit you will see a round recess hole with a light sensor at the bottom. Take a mini flashlight and turn it on and then off and the side arm should swing open and close in response to the on/ off of the flashlight. If that happens the unit is working properly. Now you need to attach it to the Mavic and program the controller to turn on the light at the bottom of the Mavic every time you press the "Fn" button on the controller.
