Solid ride again
I ordered these for the rear of my sons 2002 Toyota Tacoma 2.4L 2x4 single cab. They are a perfect fit. My son was able to install them in about 45 minutes. They are stiffer than his old shocks that were blown out. Much better ride and his truck isn't bouncing all over now.

Good shock
These cost 1/3 of the Bilstein shocks BUT they are very good and a gas shock. The Bilstein are stiffer and provide a better ride but i had them break at weld due to frame flexing. These KYB don't make frame flex as much or are welded stronger on top.

Nice Shocks!
I purchased these KYB shocks for my 1997 Toyota Tacoma to help improve the ride and handling on the truck. I have been buying KYB shocks for a while now. I'm always satisfied with the quality and the nice ride that they offer. Erik W.

Much better quality than the MonroeMatics
I purchased the Monroe Matic shocks from Amazon back in February of 2011. 8 months later the left rear started leaking with less than 4,000 miles. Amazon took care of me! They refunded the cost of the Monroe and sold me the KYB at an awesome price. The KYB shocks are made in Japan and they seem to be built/made much better than the Monroe. I hate to knock an american made product but the Monroe shocks were terrible. I installed the Monroe Quick Struts on the front of my van, I hope they continue to perform well or I will be replacing them with KYB too.

High quality shocks for replacement
Right fit, all info required is there OEM specs match and the suspension immediately felt difference. Pretty good quality parts.

Great ride
So far so good these shocks give a great ride

Only KYB
I replaced my factory shocks on my '98 Tacoma 2.4 2wd with these and I got a big difference. Truck feel stiffier but a lot more stable at high speeds.

Just installed them - we'll withhold judgement until more miles are under the belt, but they do have a great reputation.

Missing parts
Shock is fine. The sleeve that is supposed to be included to install the shock was missing. Box was taped back together. Obviously a return that someone took the sleeve out and returned.
