It can withstand heat up to 250 degrees F continuous and up to 300 degrees F intermittent. However, we recommend the Aluminum Epoxy version for binding to aluminum. Successful results will be dependant on creating a good, well-sealed bond on a clean surface. rotted corner on molding (outside door) its damp, can I apply this product?

It might fill temporarily fix the appearance. But if you're applying anything over damp/rotting wood, it will just keep rotting under what you apply. To do it right, either cut the rotten piece out and put a new one in, or make sure the rot is dry, then apply a thin rot fix epoxy that will soak in. Let that dry, then apply a filler over that to bring it up to the level that you want.

Can it be used on potable water pipes?

Yes, you can use on potable water pipes and tanks.
