I did some research and discovered that SO MANY protein powders have so much junk in them, or they're either very high in sodium OR fat AND carbohydrates! So, who needs all that sodium, fat, and carbs anyway?!?!? Not I, that's for sure, especially being in a wheelchair! Anyway, after checking out different protein powders in a highly-regarded health food store in my city, I found the Bluebonnet Whey Protein Isolate powder to be the most healthful, ESPECIALLY since it packs a full 26 grams of protein per scoop! But it was a bit expensive. I was so excited when I found it on Amazon at a much reduced rate; consequently, I've been ordering it from Amazon ever since. I always purchase the French Vanilla flavor because it seems to blend better when fruit is added to it in my little individual-size blender. I have a suggestion for new users: Purchase an individual-size blender, put in 4 ice cubes, some "frozen" mixed fruit, about 12 oz. of ice water, and then "pulse" the blender until the contents look like an "icy." THEN add 3/4 scoop instant non-fat powdered milk, and about 1-1/4 scoops of the powder, and pulse again about three pulses. It makes one of the most healthful and best tasting smoothies you will EVER drink! I've convinced others I know to do the same, and they absolutely LOVE it.
