Review: 6 months later, my tap water has never been better - My tap water used to taste so bad that my girlfriend refused to drink it. We drink tons of water daily, so buying bottled started getting expensive and the amount of trash was insane. I installed this filter, and the difference in taste was immediately apparent. I've never been a "water connoisseur", so I was under the impression that all water tasted basically the same. After installing this filter and tasting the massive difference it made, however, I'll never be without one again. Installation using the quick-disconnects was intuitive and easy. Don't skip the part where the instructions tell you to run your water for a few minutes after installation. The water will run black for the first few seconds after installation, presumably because of the charcoal filters used, but clears up quickly, and never does it again. All you need is roughly 5-10 minutes of entry-level plumbing installation, and you're in business! Anyone can do it. Worth every last penny

**Q: What adapter is needed for refrigerator filtration?**
A: I used this for an under sink install and didn’t need anything extra. Im sure this could be used as a stand alone filter on the fridge. I purchased this item AQUACREST GXRTDR Inline Water Filter, Compatible with GE GXRTDR, Samsung DA29-1010... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0787WGNPS/ref=cm_sw_r_sms_c_api_i_XnM4EbVJ49M0W for my fridge ice maker.  I cut the existing water line and installed into each end. Hope this helps.

**Q: Why dont you sell a replacement without the hose!?**
A: I think you can buy just the filter without the hose.

**Q: With RV sanitation, is there a way to remove the filter and connect the 2 quick connect ends together? or is there an adapter?**
A: Not sure what your wanting to do but, I live full time in an RV now and I have learned that there is always a way and a connector for any thing.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Take sulfer taste from well water.

Been using these for about 9 months now. Had slight sulfer and iron taste in my well water. It took out the taste and is working still. Not sure how it would work for heavy amounts of iron in the water. Flow rate is about the same as I had not really i any noticeable restriction.
