Green Toys, Tugboat , Blue

Great quality

We look to Green Toys when we are ready to buy our little one (or their friend) another toy for the collection. We buy this brand because we like this brand. Amazon frequently has sales and we really appreciate that. The toys are very, very thick and durable, going through many drops and bangs, with no cracking. The toy takes weight and pressure of every child who thinks they can press down and float this on a wet or dry surface. Their is a hatch on the top that allows water to flow in and then pour out the front. This really entertains the little ones, filling and pouring the water out. Good size and nice colors. The packaging and the product are strong and sturdy and nicely designed, so makes a great gift. Plus we do NOT have to worry about what this is made from. Green Toys are made from recycled plastic milk jugs, very novel. MADE IN THE USA. Green Toys, a brand we like to buy. *If you found my review helpful, please let Amazon know by clicking the helpful button below!

My son received a couple of other "Green Toys" for Christmas and it was the first I had heard of the brand. I really loved the concept- made in the USA, made of recycled plastic, etc- but had a little bit of "sticker shock" when I saw how much more expensive they were. I know, I know, it is worth the extra price if you are getting a good quality product- but still! Anyway, I was able to nab this boat during a "Deal of the Day" here on Amazon, so I jumped at the opportunity! (Though, to be honest, all bath toys seem to be incredibly overpriced, so in comparison this one was not out of the ordinary). We have this in tub- and I think it is the best bath toy we have. Here's why: -The plastic it is made of is very thick and sturdy (as opposed to the thin, cheapy plastic used in a lot of the other toys). -This boat actually stays afloat unless you intentionally try to capsize it. I know that sounds like an odd comment, but other plastic boat toys have had varying success with this, so I thought it was worth a mention. In our experience over the last 2 months it won't just randomly flip over or fill with water on its own. -The front of the boat has a little spout in it, so if you do choose to fill it with water, it doubles as a water spout to rinse off your soapy child. (Or, anything else you want to pour water on). AND most of all, I love that the more I learn about the ideas behind "Green Toys", the more I can justify spending a little more on them. With the ever growing list of toxic chemicals found in children's toys, this will be a brand I'll be following more from now on. Great option for those who used to be big Melissa and Doug fans but have been disappointed to see their quality slowly decline as they have grown as a company.

This boat was a hit with my grandson! He loves it!

This is a great toy boat. So many plastic boats roll over in the water and flip upside down. This boat does not. It actually floats. Can hold a toy doll or two. And then also has a watering can function. Lightweight and great size. 2 year old loves to carry by handle but looks great for all ages. Also made from recycled milk jugs so that is a feel good bonus. Perfect! (And I did not get this toy free! It was a great price around $8)

Bought this for my 9 month old grandson and he loves it. It's very nicely made and the pouring feature is great for rinsing hair in the bath.

We bought this for our two year old and he enjoys it but might have loved it a year ago. Definitely a simple design that younger children may find more fascinating. My son likes to take it apart. That's about it. I really like the material it's made out of, feels nice to the touch, floats well, drains well. Wish the cabin opened and a little character could go in and out, would up the interest of this toy.

I spent hours looking for the perfect bath toy. My kid just like every other kid likes stuffing plastic and toys into his mouth. His other bath toys smelled like shower curtains or shoe rubber, basically the vapor chemicals of the poisonous plastic seeping into the air, the water, and my kids mouth. We trashed all of those cheap toys and began looking for green or healthy soy plastic toys. I am no scientist or chemist, so I absolutely have no idea if this green toy tug boat is gonna make my kid sick in 10 years or not. But what I do know is this: the toy is simple, colors are simple, colors do not bleed or scratch off, plastic feels like a good quality and does NOT smell. Handle on back and nozzle on front are great for rinsing kids off as well as teaching kids how to fill and pour without spilling. Boat has small little nubs of plastic on bottom so boat sits on hard surfaces upright; something like that has no purpose in the tub, yet appeals to me as a designers intention to make a quality product by spending only a few extra minutes to put those little tabs on there so the boat doesn't rock and roll over off of the side of the tub while filled with water. Great bath toy product, Green Toys did a great job. Look no further if you want a good bath toy for your kids, this one works. :)

I bought one of these for one of my grandchildren and have since bought two more for other grandchildren as it was so popular. It is really easy for little hands to play with and is colourful and fun. Very happy with this.

Es exactamente igual q en la foto. A todos los niños de la urbanización les ha encantado. Es un juguete muy fácil de usar pq lo cogen fácilmente por el mango. Puede llenarse de agua dentro y utilizarlo como regadera.
