What should i do?** A: I had the same problem using Win 8.1. Here's what I did to resolve it: 1) Go to Control Panel. Click on Devices and Printers. 2) In the upper left corner click, on "Add Printer". A new window will appear and search for available printers on your system. If your printer is displayed, select it and follow instructions. 3). If not, at the bottom of the "add printer" window click on the arrow indicating that your printer was not displayed. A new window will pop up with a number of options. Select "Add a local printer...." and click Next. A list of printer manufacturers will appear on the left. Find your printer's manufacturer and select. A list of its printers will be displayed on the right. Select your printer and follow instructions. Note: I have an HP-2100 Laser Jet printer. In the list of manufacturers, HP is also listed as Hewlett Packard. You may have to look under both listings to find your printer. 4) Check back in "Devices and Printers" to make sure your printer shows up and is the default printer. Hope this helps. **Q: Will this cable connect an hp officejet t45 printer to an hp computer running windows 10?** A: No mine did not work, ended up in the trash **Q: What's the difference between DB25 and DB25F ?** A: I believe one is male and the other female. ## Frequently Bought Together - SABRENT USB to Parallel IEEE 1284 Printer Cable Adapter (CB-CN36) - UGREEN 10FT USB to Parallel Port Printer Cable, CN36 Cable Adapter IEEE1284 for Old Printer, Centronics Parallel Converter with Fast Transmission --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.no/products/218486245-sabrent-usb-to-parallel-ieee-1284-printer-cable-adapter-cb](https://www.desertcart.no/products/218486245-sabrent-usb-to-parallel-ieee-1284-printer-cable-adapter-cb) --- *Product available on Desertcart Norway* *Store origin: NO* *Last updated: 2026-10-12*
