She’s very mobile with her walker and required a shoe that would cover her wound and provide safety placement of the foot while walking. I highly endorse this, not affiliated with anyone. This really worked out for nearly 4 months of her recovery. She used it to go to church and family outings, it offered normal balance for her to walk. I cleaned it often with a normal disinfecting, wipe and let it air dry. It offered comfortable Velcro to adjust. I am a nurse and I highly recommend this shoe for any person who may have a heel or calcaneus procedure, heal, spur, or ulcer that is being treated.

**Q: Which size selection fits US Mens 12?**
A: Xl

**Q: I wear a size 14 w what size should I buy**
A: I would recommend you obtain the largest available to be able to fit a size 14 foot. The is adjustable and with luck and adjustment you should be able to accommodate a large foot.

**Q: Is it washable -- like a tennis shoe in a washing machine with some towels?**
A: Not sure, I haven't washed it.  I think I would personally throw it in the washer if I thought it needed it.  The Velcro will stick to anything else in the washer, so just be aware.  Love the shoe.  Kept my heel off the floor, there by keeping my weight off the heel, allowing the heel to heal.  ( to many heels :)

**Q: I wear size 10 womens shoes. What size should I order?**
A: I ordered these for my sister and she wears a size 7 in a regular shoe.  I ordered a size Small which is a 6-8 and she says it fits well and is very comfortable on her.

Wore boot to keep pressure of of heel with diabetic ulcer. Put more pressure on my knee. Leg would swell up if walked on to much.
