Does it have an adiquate light to light up a room?

I use mine in the garden but I doubt that it would be sufficient to light up a room

Does this have a flat smooth base so it can be stuck to a table ?

Yes I has flat smooth base and sits well on a table

Can you switch the light off?

Yes. Unscrew the lid and there is a on/off button on the underside of the lid.

Brilliant Solar light

Great way to light a table in the evening, instead of floodlights in the garden. Also brilliant for going camping (as long as you can leave it in the sun during the day!)

Perfectly simple and compact with loads of power!

Perfect for setting the mood as the sun dies down. So compact and simple to use with a great battery life to last all night. From having larger more complex systems in the past this just makes so much sense to use instead.

This is a belter this light - excellent brightness and a real eye catcher in the garden from dusk onwards when it kicks in.
