Hojoy Draft Excluder for Doors, Self Adhesive Door Draft Excluder 2 Pack

I've purchased a number of these - both the brown and white versions. After the first purchases worked so well I decided to come back and buy more. Easy enough to install. They arrive rolled up, and you need to flatten them out before use (lay flat, stick some books or something to weigh them down for 24 / 48 hours). They come with a strong smelling wipe you use to clean the area you plan to stick the strip to - smell dissipates after 24 hours. Measure carefully, cut to size, and then stick to the door. Recommend you take off the backing strip gradually as you stick the strip to the door ... don't take it all off in one go otherwise you will have a VERY sticky strip to manipulate - it will get stuck to the floor, your hands, your hair and any random children or pets walking past. Once stuck to the door, the instructions recommend you leave it alone for 12 hours ... so I always did mine late at night so I wasn't opening and closing the door. Note that if your floor is uneven, the strip will wear down over time (months) to adjust to the shape - so don't worry if the door is initially difficult to open/the strip rubs on the ground - it will fix itself. They aren't very pretty to look at when you first get them and colour matching will help (see photos - brown looks ugly, white isn't noticeable). Overall though, these are cheap and cheerful - they work. 9 months after installing my first ones they are still in place and working fine.

A brilliant draft excluder easy to apply and stayed on for years was a brilliant purchase! I had to redecorate the doors and took it off to paint under so ordered more. I can't recommend them enough even with the strong adhesive they didn't damage the doors when taken off.

Easy to install in minutes, fantastic adherence and stops well drafts !

Ease to use stable thickness good stays where you apply it, don't like that after a bit of time goes off white with heating on

Very easy to install and it works.

Works great so far. Only comment would be the very strong smell of the product. It's been 5 days and it still is noticeable. Length is great and fitted my doors.

Used to fill gap at the bottom of my lanai door. Cut to perfect size. Easy to use and so far, no issues with falling off.

Used it on a bedroom door (wood like material) to seal it up to help keep the room cooler with a window ac so far it hasn't peeled or shown any wear seals great no complaints keeps cold air in easy to install and seems to be made of a good quality rubber material would buy again going to put the outher one on my front door, I put a couple screws to help the adhesive but I dont think it was necessary.

It works really well, but there are two downsides that are easy to overlook: The smell is very strong. After installing it, I kept coughing, and my cat was sneezing too. When I removed it, it peeled paint off the wall. I wanted to mention these issues so others know what to expect. If you’re renting, think carefully before using it.
