Also, when you work nights and have to sleep during the day, the darker you can make your bedroom, the better you sleep. Even though the display is large and easy to read, this clock does not have a lighted display, which again makes it perfect. Also, it has dual alarms, and when an alarm goes off, the display lights up and flashes. I'm very pleased with this clock. It has all the features I want and need in a digital clock. The fact that it is battery operated, as well as thin and compact would also make it a good travel alarm clock. Money well spent.

This is a great clock. I got it because it shows not only the time but the date and day of the week.
