I use them on all of my rifles (12g through 5.56). It really makes a different in my shooting because I'm not as worried about the recoil, so I don't jerk the trigger. One trick I used, from another review, was to put on the bottom of the pad first and work it on from the bottom up. It went on very easily for me on my Oracle. The solid, non-ergonomic butt plate was not comfortable for him so I added the Limbsaver recoil pad. It made an amazing difference in both comfort and felt recoil which is a big deal when kids are learning to shoot. It fits great on the adjustable stock, which must have the 1/4" lip on the butt plate. I'll probably buy a couple more and an added benefit is that the soft rubber pad keeps the stock from sliding when I lean it against something! Definitely a good product.
