I was a little hesitant to use it because I was afraid it would ruin my furniture (some reviewers stated that this removed the color from their leather or stripped away the shine), but I just used it and it didn't alter the color nor did it change the appearance in any way. I didn't bother using the leather cleaner, since the furniture is brand new, but I did use the leather conditioner. I was a little surprised by the texture of the conditioner. It reminded me of white school glue, just a bit runnier. It didn't have any odor at all, nor did it leave the leather feeling sticky, tacky or slippery. It left it feeling soft and conditioned. Hopefully it will do as it says it is supposed to do and will help protect my furniture from cracking and peeling.
