They are pretty small for wheel chocks. I don't know that I would trust a regular size car/truck with these, although I think they would be fine in most cases. I use them for my 12x6 enclosed trailer and they work great. Small and easy to store, and they fit well around the trailer tires to keep it from moving. They are solid rubber except for a hollow part to make them lighter. They grip really really well, absolutely no issues with them. Yes they smell like rubber! What do you expect from a rubber product?
