Our boat was several seasons low on wax, so I first waxed the 23 ft cuddy which knocked the oxidation off. That didn't give it quite the shine I was looking for. I put this on last March 2015 and it still beads water. fishing trips all summer in florida marine environment and sun. Great product. Did bottom of boat also, seems to improve fuel economy also. But you need to get the one step wax compound before this product goes on. Polish won't remove oxidation like the one step wax will. **Q: how to apply** A: Before polishing, wash surface to remove grit and dirt (we recommend Star brite Boat Wash or Star brite Sea Safe Biodegradable Boat Wash). Shake bottle well. Apply evenly with a clean cloth to a small area in a circular motion while polish is wet. Star brite Premium Marine Polish will quickly dry to a haze. Wipe off haze using another clean, dry cloth. For best results, apply a second coat within 30 days. Two applications will provide exceptional protection against fading, chalking, rust, corrosion and general degradation. Oil, dirt and salt will not stick to the super slick surface and can usually be washed off with boat wash and water. NOTE: If surface to be treated is faded, chalking or oxidized, first use Star brite Premium Cleaner Wax to restore the finish." **Q: Can I use it on my car?** A: Yes, this polish is ideal for use on automotive paint. It provides a durable barrier against stains and UV exposure while delivering a great shine and water-beading effect. **Q: Has anyone used an electric polisher with this ?** A: This polish can be applied/removed by hand or with an electric buffer. ## Frequently Bought Together - STAR BRITE Premium Marine Polish - Maximum UV Protection & High Gloss Finish - UV Inhibitors Stop Fading, Chalking & Oxidation While Repelling Water, Stains & Marine Deposits - STAR BRITE Premium Restorer Wax - For Medium to Heavy Oxidation - Cleans & Restores in One Easy Step - Seals & Protects for a Brilliant Finish - STAR BRITE One-Step Cleaner Wax with UV Protection - Removes Chalk & Oxidation from Fiberglass, Metals & Painted Surfaces --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.no/products/2096758-premium-marine-polish](https://www.desertcart.no/products/2096758-premium-marine-polish) --- *Product available on Desertcart Norway* *Store origin: NO* *Last updated: 2026-10-01*
