I don't use the salve much anymore unless I see a hot spot. I have NEVER had to throw out any blankets or beds, the stuff washes out with laundry detergent so I believe that person complaining about the floors and bedding is exaggerating or has an over sensitive nose. It seems to be working but very slowly. It is a thick sticky lotion and you need to wash the area at least every two weeks. It is a very slow process but it seems to be working slowly. If you're looking for a quick fix this is not it. I just put in the area daily and rub it in real well and off she goes. I am finally starting to see a bit of growth so I am happy about that and with this lotion as well.
