I bought 3 more of these to add to my collection of thermometers (now total of 6) that work with my Ambient weather display (came with 3 remote units). These units help me keep an eye on my crawlspace and attic humidity and temps from the comfort of my main living areas. I also have a unit mounted on exterior of my shed (in protected area) about 30 feet from house. Right now I have one temporarily located in my fireplace (working on a temporary seal since it is not used)... out of curiosity to see how low temp gets now that fireplace sealed from main living space. My dad also has a set of units and monitors his garage and basement. Nice to have both temp/humidity available from one unit

Purchased an additional sensor for our WS-10, as I was moving one between rooms on a regular basis. Had a bit of a problem with the setup, and even though I got it done (took about 5 minutes), I emailed tech support to ensure I did it correctly, and subtlety suggested they should include adding units to the manual by asking where in the manual it was. Emailed late Saturday, and had a response Sunday morning, even though support is only supposed to be available M-F. Very impressive. Ed confirmed that my method of adding the new sensor was fine, and provided a link to the manual and let me know more information was in part 5.5. To my embarrassment, the information was there, I had just read right past it. I'll likely be adding a couple more sensors in the next couple of weeks. Great product, works as described. Some of the best tech support I've experienced in MANY years.

Suddenly my sensor after maybe 4 years drifted up 5 f. So now got this replacement. No instructions in box, drove me crazy trying to setup, then found my manual. Power sensor then power monitor ! New sensor working fine. Surprised because usually the humidity part dies first on most weather stuff.

I bought 4 (weather station) sensors & 2 consoles 4 years ago; sensors outside front & back of house, sensor upstairs in the bedroom & downstairs in the den; console in bedroom & den. I've changed batteries from time to time & they continue to start back up just fine. Recently when I retrieved one that wasn't transmitting, I found a battery had leaked inside, essentially killing it. So I ordered a replacement sensor. It showed 20 degrees more than it should've. I did a Return/Replace, the replacement was doing the same thing. I tried again. Update 7/10/25: Fortunately, the 3rd sensor I received shows accurate temperature & it only took a few minutes for the consoles to recognize the new sensor. The original sensors & consoles continue to work good with the exception of the sensor my leaky battery killed. Alexa can tell me the temperature outside, but I especially like knowing that my bedroom is cool enough (portable A/C & fan) before I go up to bed. It's also interesting to see the major temperature difference between the shaded one on the back deck & the one on the sunny front porch.

Easy to set into working with existing monitor.

We have been using this Ambient system for years in our motorhome. I have to keep track of the temperatures inside and outside of our rig. I also use these sensors for keeping track of my sprouting and fermenting as well as bread-making. Since we don't heat our rig above 50 degrees overnight, I need to keep things warm overnight. We also keep a sensor in our sewer bay to make sure things don't freeze in there. The whole system has worked great for us for years. This sensor was a replacement for the one my hubby ran over while leveling our rig in our site for the winter. Yes, it was placed on top of our front tire and forgotten until he heard the crunching sound. The replacement is working as well as all the others.

Didn't last a year. This was a replacement for a ten year old sensor. It didn't even last a year!! Obviously the quality must have gone way down. I am sceptical about purchasing another one. Oh, and btw, it's been in a shielded area from the weather. It reads 130 degrees.

They go bad so quickly I'm having to replace them about once a year.

Have the main bar station, these are additional sensors to distribute in my humidifier to control humidity and temperature

Works as advertised. when calibrating, all sensors were within 2% and 1 degree. Alarm function is hit and miss - alarms randomly going off during the night.

Second additional purchase. Expensive and unreliable. Buy Something else.
