Jim Reeves was one of the biggest recording artists of the 1950s and 60s, and in some countries, he was actually more popular than Elvis! He is one of the architects of the "Nashville Sound," but he also popularized numerous Gospel favorites. This collection centers on his most beloved gospel offerings. Includes: How Long Has It Been, I'll Fly Away, It Is No Secret, Whispering Hope, and more. Review: An outstanding collection of spiritual and inspirational songs - I bought this CD as a gift for my brother. I considered getting a copy for myself but realized I had all the songs on other Jim Reeves albums. This album offers a comprehensive collection of classic gospel favorites. To those who are finding it difficult to cope during these troubling times, I recommend this album to help you seek peace. Although Jim Reeves has been gone for over five decades, his rich soothing voice continues to bring joy and comfort to millions throughout the world. Review: Blessings to relax and live by. - Love all the songs on this CD. Jim Reeves has a beautiful voice that sings peace. Heard some new songs I had never heard before. Like them also. Besides enjoying listening while I’m sewing, I also plan to have several on my funeral program.

A decent compilation
This is a decent compilation of spiritual Jim Reeves songs, though a few of them are not really "gospel" songs in my opinion. The sound quality isn't perfect, but mostly clear, considering when the songs were recorded. The volume does fluctuate slightly from song to song. Be aware this CD comes in a cardboard sleeve; not a plastic case. Overall, I'll enjoy listening to it, because Jim Reeves had one of the most beautiful voices ever.
