TotalMount Apple TV Mount

My Apple TV - HD fit just fine after I slid out the insert designed to make it fit any generation of Apple TV.

The TotalMount for Apple TV is a simple but extremely effective solution for keeping my setup clean and organized. It securely holds the Apple TV in place, either behind the TV or on the wall, helping eliminate clutter and keeping everything neatly hidden from view. Installation was straightforward, with clear instructions and all the necessary hardware included. Once mounted, the device feels very secure and stable, with no worries about it shifting or falling. I also appreciate how it improves airflow and keeps the Apple TV safely out of the way while still maintaining full signal performance for the remote. What really stands out is how much cleaner my entertainment setup looks now. It’s a small accessory that makes a big difference in organization and aesthetics. Overall, this mount is practical, sturdy, and well-designed. Highly recommended for anyone looking to streamline their Apple TV setup.

In the garage I have a TV on a wall mount and AppleTV as the sole source for content. I wanted to mount the AppleTV on the back of the TV for the minimalist option. I found the TotalMount when searching Amazon and it looked like it would fit the bill. I was concerned about which generation of AppleTV would fit as many of the mounts you will find on Amazon only work for the older mount. What was not obviously, but welcome surprise, is the TotalMount is completely compatible with both generations as it includes an “insert” that adapts the smaller newest generation to the mount. Good: 1. Mount works with all generations of AppleTV 4K. 2. Mount includes a large piece of high quality double sided tape already cut to fit and installed. Pro tip: use a heat gun or hair dryer to warm up both the tape and surface for the best possible adhesion. 3. Extremely easy and fast installation, no instructions required. Bad: 1. One of the more expensive AppleTV mounting options, but I think the quality, construction, and compatibility justify the price. 2. The mount does not hold the AppleTV in all directions. Basically only one supported orientation which is vertical wall mount with cords either pointing up or down. Mounting the AppleTV horizontally on the ceiling or even horizontally on a vertical wall will not work. You could experiment with taping the AppleTV into the unit to hold it in these other orientations.

I mounted this behind the TV in our master bedroom, and it's worked perfectly. It keeps the Apple TV securely out of sight, helps clean up the overall look, and frees up space on the dresser. Installation was quick and straightforward, and I like that it still allows for proper airflow around the Apple TV. It's a simple product, but it does exactly what it's supposed to do and makes the setup look much cleaner. Definitely recommend.

Great function: It will hold an Apple TV box perfectly and will hide it behind your flat screen TV and the Apple Remote will still work. So The only thing I found a bit annoying was the sticky pad that connects the box to your TV fell off once or twice while installing it. It hasn’t fallen since. So overall a good product. I’d recommend it.

Perfect to hold our Apple TV box. Installation was easy. It instantly made the TV area less cluttered.

Needed a way to mount an Apple tv in our workout room. The TV was mounted on the wall and we didn't have a shelf for it. This mount was perfect. It attaches to the back of the TV and the Apple TV unit slides in quite easily. Took about 5 minutes to get set up. With the mounting adhesive, it could be mounted anywhere.

Product description is not proper. Pls update correct information and change pics. It's confusing as I want Apple TV not mount.

It is useful to keep the Apple TV tucked away from view and children
