Pie weights are used to prevent pie shells from blistering and shrinking while they bake. Mrs. Anderson's pie weights are ceramic, they conduct heat evenly and are also easy to clean after baking! F

Review: Good quality but expensive - Great quality pie weights. However, quite expensive and delivery took ages. You will also need two boxes for a 12" inch pan. After I ordered this, I found cheaper and equally good quality weights at Lakeland.
Review: Great! BUT USE FOIL!! - These worked great, but DO NOT PUT THEM DIRECTLY ON THE PIE DOUGH otherwise they bake INTO the crust and are a nightmare to remove! (I’m really surprised they show photos of them directly on the dough, that’s why I did it.) But I’ve since learned to use foil in between and they work beautifully.

Excellent product, for some reason hard to find locally. I had used beans and was tired of that. Made two quiches as soon as these arrived weight is perfect, I didn’t have to clean using the parchment paper, they are much sturdier and far more stable than old beans. Easier to use, just rinse and dry, and put back in the container for the next time!
