Because I had to pack the soft fine powder it takes me a couple of minutes per pill to pack, adding and tamping several times both the bottom and top and the max I can get if I pack the material in tightly to where the two halves barely fit together is about 980mg per pill. While I could pack 500mg per pill much faster and just take two pills, I think I am going to get the #000 size when these run out in a couple of months. I bought a kit with implements and 3d printed a holder to load these, and with that I found it easy to use. These are completely tasteless and have no ill effects on my digestion. The capsule manufacturing has been very consistant across this batch. Being pure gelatin, they disolve easily so don't get them wet. Over all these are effective for delivering the ginseng to my system which I take along with MegaRed omega-3 krill oil to help with my attention and focus. Also these are gluten-free and free of other chemicals. I highly recommend these for making pills from powder, but unless you want to spend a lot of time packing these with a tiny scoop and tamper, don't plan on loading these with more than 600mg of material. Instead buy the larger size or plan to pack these with a lower dose and take two pills at a time. The picture shows the scale with the weight of the holder and an empty capsule tared out and the material in the capsule tamped tightly. The capsule is filled to the point where it barely fits together and it's slightly under a gram. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Cool Multipack of Empty Capsules *by on Reviewed in the United States February 7, 2024* When I embarked on creating my vitamin supplements at home, the quest for the perfect capsule was paramount.Traditionally, I leaned towards clear gelatin capsules, a reliable choice for encapsulating the herbs integral to my regimen. However, as my herbal repertoire expanded, the need for an efficient method to differentiate these supplements became evident. What sets these capsules apart is the sheer variety they offer. Housed in a substantial bag, an assortment of capsules greets you, boasting an array of matching colors and patterns that are as visually appealing as they are practical. This diversity not only simplifies the organization of my supplements but also infuses a bit of fun into the process. The task of matching capsules, reminiscent of assembling a puzzle or playing a game of Dr. Mario, transforms what could be a mundane activity into an engaging ritual.I've settled into preparing a three-day supply of supplements at a time. The process is straightforward: select four distinct styles of capsules to represent different ingredients—such as chlorella and lion's mane mushroom powder—and then fill and match them. One might wonder about the sensory experience of these capsules—their taste or smell.Remarkably, they are neutral on both counts, neither imparting flavor nor carrying any distinct aroma. This neutrality ensures that the natural taste of the supplements remains unaltered.Furthermore, their ease of digestion and the ability to swallow them without discomfort highlights the capsules' high quality. Each capsule generously accommodates 0.3-0.4 grams of powdered supplements, from dried mushrooms to green tea, making them versatile for various needs. These capsules stand out for their quality, affordability, and the ingenious solution they provide for customizing and organizing supplements.I wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone venturing into homemade vitamin supplements. They present significant cost savings. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I recommend. Good quality. *by on Reviewed in the United States August 4, 2026* Good product. I have not had any side effects. The capsules are a little thicker than others, but they still work. Stomach acid should break them down easily. They’re easy to recap once you fill them. They are easy to swallow if you don’t have a problem with the larger sizes. Take them with water. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.no/products/200215958-size-00-empty-capsules-1000-count-empty-gelatin-capsules-pills](https://www.desertcart.no/products/200215958-size-00-empty-capsules-1000-count-empty-gelatin-capsules-pills) --- *Product available on Desertcart Norway* *Store origin: NO* *Last updated: 2026-11-02*
