One has a 12% error and the other has a 9% error. This is much too wide for distillation processes. If you are distilling substances with bp’s that close, you may have a challenge drawing a distillation curve. Glad they had the little rubber triangle piece so they didnt roll off counters as we worked on our experiment. They are glass so maybe not suited for younger kids but my girls (9 & 7) were careful when using them and coukd read then easily. Pretty durable but I wouldn't let one fall to the floor. Temp reading seemed as accurate as could be for what we needed.
