Review: Very acurate and nice to use - This scales is really good its very acurate and looks nice and sleek the touch buttons are very nice and responsive and its perfect for espresso i have used this a few times now for making espresso and its really nice to use the built in timer is very handy to have for brew ratios as you can see from the photos i used a 1:2 ratio i put 19 grams of coffee in and got 38 grams out in 27 seconds so it works great for making espresso and id highly reccomend this scales its really good

**Q: Does this scales need to be calibrated before the first use.**
A: I didn’t calibrate it, or even know you could. I looked up the weight of a 2p piece on Google and it weighed it spot on, so l guess it’s ok straight out of the box..

**Q: Is this scale also suitable of baking, e.g, measuring out precisely 2g of malt, 8g of salt etc?x Does the precision work for these low weights?**
A: Absolutely, it works with weights much smaller than that and is extremely precise.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ A good mid-range coffe scale, let down by lack of timer

I bought these for helping dial-in a new home espresso machine. Not wanting to spend ridiculous amounts on the high-end ones, this struck a sensible balance. It works well and is pretty accurate - the only real niggles are the lack of an auto-starting timer to help with the dial-in process, the height (which means its a squeeze under groupheads on Sage machines) and that the little rubber mat is hard to get and keep clean. All in all though, a decent set of scales.
