Although this book was designed for a mature Christian woman mentoring a younger Christian woman, we are able to enjoy it as a group of four women that are all around the same age and stage in our spiritual walk. There are many scripture references in each chapter, and the entire book is scripture-based and not the 'self-help' style that is so popular nowadays where there is very little that draws from scripture. We have been choosing one to use as a memory verse each week. The book is very insightful; the author presents gospel truths well. The questions at the end of the chapter are just right for a small group, helping us get to know each other better while encouraging us to address things in our spiritual walk that need attention. I have underlined and circled something on pretty much every page.
