The cover includes a complete hardware kit with rust-resistant cable, metal grommets, and a locking winch for secure installation. Lightweight and foldable, it stores compactly off-season. Available in multiple sizes and backed by an 8-year limited warranty, it offers reliable winter protection with easy installation and removal. ## Description Closing an above ground pool for winter should protect the investment, not create a second job. The Blue Wave Arctic Armor 24-ft round rugged mesh pool cover keeps debris out and lets water drain through, easing spring removal and reducing the need to pump the cover during the fall. Built from woven polyethylene, this cover handles a full season of snow, ice, and freezing temperatures. The fine mesh blocks leaves, sticks, and debris while allowing rain and snowmelt to slowly drain through with no standing water or ice buildup, and the mesh construction stays lightweight for easier handling. Installation is straightforward. Spread the cover. It is sized for 24-ft round above-ground pools with an extra 4-ft overlap that extends down the pool wall. Thread the included rust-resistant vinyl-coated cable through heavy-duty metal grommets spaced every 2 ft, and cinch tight with the metal locking winch. Every piece of hardware needed comes in the box. Available in round sizes from 12 ft to 30 ft. Install in late fall before the first freeze and remove in early spring to a cleaner pool with less debris. Folds compactly for off season storage. Backed by Blue Wave’s 8-year limited warranty (full coverage in year one and prorated coverage through year eight), U.S.-based customer support, and over 35 years of pool industry experience. This winter pool cover is designed to protect the pool from the elements while it is not in use. Not intended as a safety cover. ## Features - No-Pump Mesh Drainage: This fine mesh pool cover lets rainwater and melting snow slowly drain through, easing spring removal with no pump needed in freezing weather - Blocks Leaves and Debris All Winter: The fine mesh design blocks leaves, sticks, twigs, and other debris from entering the pool while water continues to drain through - Complete Hardware Kit Included: This mesh cover includes heavy-duty metal grommets, a rust-resistant vinyl-coated cable, and a metal locking winch for a secure hold: no separate hardware needed - Folds Compactly for Storage: Install this mesh pool cover in late fall through winter to keep debris off the pool; when spring arrives, removal is straightforward and the cover folds compactly for off season storage until the next winter ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | Additional Features | Foldable, Lightweight, Tear Resistant, Wear Resistant | | Asin | B005Y6Y86M | | Best Sellers Rank | #6,795 in Patio, Lawn & Garden (See Top 100 in Patio, Lawn & Garden) #83 in Pool Safety Covers | | Brand Name | Blue Wave | | Closure Type | Drawstring | | Color | Black | | Customer Reviews | 4.1 4.1 out of 5 stars (2,234) 4.1 out of 5 stars | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00672875300457, 00672875303335 | | Included Components | Does not apply | | Installation Type | Floating | | Item Dimensions L X W | 288"L x 288"W | | Item Type Name | 24 ft Round Pool Cover | | Item Weight | 15.6 pounds | | Manufacturer | Blue Wave Products | | Manufacturer Part Number | BWC608 | | Manufacturer Warranty Description | 8-year warranty | | Material Type | Polyethylene (PE) | | Model Name | 24 ft Round Pool Cover | | Model Number | BWC608 | | Number Of Items | 1 | | Pattern | Solid | | Product Care Instructions | Hand Wash Only | | Product Style | Pool Cover | | Shape | Round | | Size | 24' (Round) | | Theme | Garden, Patio, Pool, Pool Cover | | Unit Count | 1 Count | | Upc | 672875303335 672875300457 | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Blue Wave - **Color:** Black - **Material:** Polyethylene (PE) - **Product Dimensions:** 288"L x 288"W - **Size:** 24' (Round) ## Images ![Blue Wave Arctic Armor 24-ft Round Rugged Mesh Pool Cover for Winter - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81nEtm3AYAL.jpg) ![Blue Wave Arctic Armor 24-ft Round Rugged Mesh Pool Cover for Winter - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/912xUiPjcvL.jpg) ![Blue Wave Arctic Armor 24-ft Round Rugged Mesh Pool Cover for Winter - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81B7qNGApHL.jpg) ![Blue Wave Arctic Armor 24-ft Round Rugged Mesh Pool Cover for Winter - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81i2mceIWeL.jpg) ![Blue Wave Arctic Armor 24-ft Round Rugged Mesh Pool Cover for Winter - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81kKvJCCgzL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Size** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: I have a 24 foot pool, should i order the 24 or go with 28?** A: 24 foot is fine. But do not expect much from this cover. Mine did not make it through even one season! **Q: I have a 16ft round pool, Would the cable of the 15ft fit around it or should I go with the 18ft? Thank you in advance.** A: If I were you I would get the 18 it's better to be safe because if it's too tight it will rip...we have the 24 ft and it fits just right...hope that helps:) **Q: I have a deck around my pool. does the 4 foot overlap actually hang down the sides of the pool by 4 foot all the way around?** A: Not exactly. The excess hangs over the pool wall, then there is a wire that goes through eyelets along the outer edge of the cover that you pull tight. As far as how much hangs down, mine only had about 2 feet hanging, since some of the excess is taken up by the droop down the inside of the pool (you can't actually pull it tight enough for the cover to be "flat" across the pool surface, it droops down to the water inside). **Q: Would this be good to use during pool season like leaving it on when not in pool and taking it off when getting in..i ask because my pool is under tre** A: It works great catching leaves. Our pool stayed clear all fall/winter, and ours is under a tree also. It tolerated the wind also and did not Frey. Because of the way it tightens, it's would not be fun to do everyday. We had to remove our steps to tighten it properly. But the quality is great. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - πŸ›’ **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** β€” Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** β€” Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - πŸ’° **No Hidden Fees** β€” All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - πŸ”„ **15-Day Free Returns** β€” Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - πŸ”’ **Secure Payments** β€” Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** β€” Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.no/products/19335098-blue-wave-arctic-armor-24-ft-round-rugged-mesh-pool](https://www.desertcart.no/products/19335098-blue-wave-arctic-armor-24-ft-round-rugged-mesh-pool) --- *Product available on Desertcart Norway* *Store origin: NO* *Last updated: 2026-10-06*
