**Q: Will this work on a iPhone 6**
A: Yes.  This will link and iPhone 6 to accessories using the earlier Apple 30 pin connector, allowing the later iPhone products like the iPhone 6 to be used with those accessories.

**Q: I have an ihome clock radio-charger i've used with my iphone 4s. will this adapter fit on the clock to make it compatible with my iphone 6?**
A: I have two of the older iHomes and this adapter works fine for my iPhone 6s.  I would expect it to work for your iPhone 6 as well.  The previous answers also have points that you should consider.  It's true this adapter does not make contact with a case on the phone.  I have to remove my case to use it.  It's also true that this adapter elevates the iPhone above the radio in a precarious and easily-broken position.  My usage is protected and the iPhone will not be accidentally bumped.  I've also purchased cheap adapters with about 6" of cable that are a better physical solution if all you want to do is charge (works with the case on but no iPhone audio support).  Perhaps the $30 Apple adapter does support audio.

**Q: Is this a genuine Apple product?**
A: Yep, genuine Apple, transmits audio and video as well as charges.  This even works with the steering wheel controls provided by the 30-pin iPod connector in my car.  Beware, however - as others have said this does not work well if your device has a case, due to the connector being too short.

**Q: Will this work for the audio in a car with an iPhone 7?**
A: Yes...the audio plays just fine...however, if you have remote control capability from your car radio that used the larger connector, it may or may not work. On mine, the remote control of tracks, playlists, etc. didn't work, but I just control playback from the phone's display, and just keep it laying beside me.
